The best and Worst Things about winter are…..

It is cold and you can build stuff like a snowman.

You can't play netball play with snow.

Have a snowball fight.

You can't bike or scooter and play at the park.

Rata and the Waka

We have been doing some critical thinking with the story of Rata and the Waka

This girl was walking down a dark and narrow street and she

saw a grave. The girl shouted for help because someone grabbed her.She was scared. Someone came and helped her.It was a misty morning and she couldn’t see.Frantically she got to her feet with the help from a kind person and then went home and had dinner and she got ready for bed and put her crimson pyjamas on and watched a movie until her bedtime. When it was bedtime she brushed her teeth then hopped in bed, tucked in her blankets and went to sleep.

My learning goals for 2018

Today I brainstormed a new goal for Panui pukapuka, tuhituhi, pangarau, hauora and a key competency goal. I have created a google drawing and I am sharing it on my blog to prepare for our goal setting conversations next week.
